Saia trucking was founded in 1924, in Houma, Lousiana. It is an LTL(Less than Truckload) trucking firm operating for more than the past 50 years. During the initial years, the network was only limited to Louisana and Texas, but by the time It grew (but mainly after 1980), the network expanded to more and more states in the South.
