Seesaw Login: Seasaw For School Plus Seasaw Family
What is the use of a Seesaw?
Seesaw login is a student participation platform that can inspire students of all ages to do their best and save teachers’ time. Students use creative tools to capture, draw, and record videos, and use more tools to capture the learning content in the portfolio. Educators discover or create events to share with students.
How much does a Seesaw cost?
Basic seesaw services are free for teachers, families and students. We are committed to meaningfully involving students in learning, and copying seesaws for free is one of the ways we do this.
We also provide advanced features to seesaw schools to save time, encourage cooperation and strengthen family connections-all on the seesaw. You can view the comparison of “Seesaw Free Edition” and “School Seesaw Features” here: http://web.seesaw.me/pricing.

Since we have seen different teachers use seesaws in many different ways, we thought it would be helpful to summarize some typical uses of seesaws and the corresponding classroom settings. These are just a few typical methods used by seesaw teachers, but you can configure the seesaw to make it more suitable for you. Our setup allows you to use a seesaw to achieve one of these goals or to combine these three goals.

Seesaw for Feedback and Reflection
Some teachers mainly use the seesaw as a place for students to share their work and encourage personal reflection and private feedback. The swing can not only store students’ works but also become a place for teachers and students to provide encouragement, constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement. A true peer audience can encourage students to do their best. Educators have the opportunity to review comments before posting them to ensure that the comments are constructive and appropriate.
Seesaw for Assignments & Assessment
Some teachers choose to use the seesaw in a more private way because they can conduct student assessments, collect assignments and provide special direct feedback to students. You can even send homework for students to complete, and deliver homework through a seesaw. This is mainly to make the seesaw a place where students and teachers can interact with their work.
Seesaw Sharing Family
For other teachers, the seesaw is mainly used as a way to contact family members and let them know the education their children receive in school. In addition to the work assigned by the teacher, the students also added posts to the seesaw, taking pride in a self-directed way. Teachers report that when students know that their family members will immediately take notes during the day or ask them at night, they are motivated to do better.
Students on shared computers
If you are sharing a laptop or computer, we recommend that you “set up” a child for each web browser so that they do not have to log out.
For example, if you have three children:
Child 1: Use Google Chrome to log in to the seesaw
For Child 2: Use Firefox to log in to the seesaw
Child 3: Use Safari (Apple) or Edge (Microsoft) to log in to the seesaw
If you share a tablet/smartphone, students need to exit the Seesaw Class app before other students can use it.
