Log in to TWC
Log in with an existing TWC user ID or create a new user ID.

Apply for benefits
Submit an unemployment benefits application.
You will need:
- Brand name and address of the last owner
- The first and last date (month, day, and year) you worked for the last employer
- If you work this week (including Sunday), your working hours and the average salary
- Information about your normal salary
- Foreigner registration number (if you are not a US citizen or citizen)
- View e-mail

Email communication allows you to receive most (but not all) unemployment notices and forms electronically via a secure online mailbox. Submit your documents to TWC
If TWC requires you to provide documents, you can upload them online using the UI’s sending portal.
You must enter your personal information in the portal and then select the type of transportation to be carried out from the drop-down list. The portal also provides a list of file types that can be downloaded. When you are finished, make sure to select the “Submit” button at the top of the page.

Apply for Disaster Assistance Payment Disaster (DUA)
If you have a valid claim from DUA, please ask for interest.

- If you are an employee:
- The number of working hours per week.
- Your total weekly income
- Weekly job search activities (if applicable).
- If you are self-employed:
- The total profit and commission before deduction (such as operating expenses).
Even if you worked in the previous week, your total income for the week you earned it. For example, if you have taken office within n weeks. #1, but payment was not received until the nth week. #2, you should report the total income in the nth week. #2, receive weekly payment.

Ask for a week to wait
TWC cannot pay you in the first week of the claim (also known as the “waiting week”) until you return to full-time work or exhaust all benefits. If you return to full-time work before the benefits are exhausted, you must notify TWC to collect the first week’s payment. To report your full-time job return, select your “Waiting Week” request from the quick link list on the homepage.
The appeal is a written notice stating that you disagree with TWC’s decision and hope to resolve your case through the appeal process. Appeals can be submitted online.
Change withholding tax
Unemployment benefits are taxable income and must be reported to the IRS under federal law. You must report all unemployment benefits you receive to the IRS on the federal tax return.
If you receive unemployment benefits, you may have withheld federal income tax from unemployment benefits. Withholding tax is completely voluntary; no withholding tax is required. Moreover, if you ask us to withhold taxes, we will deduct 10% of the total amount from all your benefits and send them to the tax authority.

- When applying for benefits online through unemployment assistance services, select the deduction option

In Internet Explorer 8 or later, Content Advisor must be disabled to access the TWC Internet system. If you try to log in but receive the message “The system has logged you out.
Then, please log in again to access the requested page”, make sure that Content Advisor is disabled in your browser. You can check or change the Content Advisor settings by following the steps below: In the browser, select “Tools”. Select Internet options. Select content.
After disabling Content Advisor, the “Enable” button will be displayed. After enabling Content Advisor, the “Disable” button will be displayed. To change the setting, select the displayed button (enable or disable). If prompted, enter the password. Select OK to close the “Internet Options” window.
Finally, close and reopen the browser, then try to log in again.

The fastest way to submit a claim is through their online portal, unemployment benefits service. Claims are processed quickly in this way.
