Quick Guide to Activate a New NHSmail Login Account
Recently, we asked you to provide us with information to help us activate a new secure email account (NHSmail login), and we need to share information with other health and social care colleagues. These accounts are now created by the NHS National Administrative Service (NAS) on our behalf. You will receive priority information via email and SMS shortly.
This quick guide to NHSmail Login is written internally to guide you through the steps required to activate and start using your account; it takes approximately 15 minutes.

This personal email address is not owned by our company. The NHS created it for nursing professionals to help us safely and reliably share personal and private information (such as nursing records, discharge assessment, and DNACPR certification) between health and social care professionals under appropriate circumstances.

Steps For NSHmail Login
Step 1-Search for the email message you provide To us, you will receive an email with the subject: Welcome to NHSmail-Important Information.

- Then click “Login”.
(4) The system will ask you to set a new password. NHSmail only accepts the following types of passwords: it must be eight characters or more; it must contain a combination of three of the following four-letter types: uppercase letters (A-Z)
- Lowercase letters (a-z) iii. Numbers (0-9)
- The symbol (! “£$%^&*).
It cannot contain:
- Your username

(5) In the next window, add your name to NHSmail.

It may take a few minutes for your new NHSmail account to appear in your Outlook profile.
